Ms. King has over 25 years of experience in business law and state and local
government. Before joining Alert Systems, she practiced business, corporate
and intellectual property law in Madison, Wisconsin. She was previously an
analyst in the Wisconsin governor’s budget office. She has also served on
numerous boards and commissions in the City of Madison and in Dane
County, Wisconsin. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Barnard
College, master’s degrees in planning and public administration from the
University of Wisconsin, and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin
Law School, where she was an editor of the Wisconsin Law Review.
Ms. King presently serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Human
Performance and Risk Analysis (CHPRA) at the University of Wisconsin and
is a member of the User Group for the Center for Risk and Economic Analysis
of Terrorism Events (CREATE).
